Social media campaign: EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT


Challenge

The public doesn’t know the people who work at City Hall leading to false rumors and disrespect.

Strategy

Profile one employee each week, rotating departments and job types. Share each Employee Spotlight on Instagram, Facebook, and the City’s weekly SMS Adobe Spark newsletter.

My Role

I identified, interviewed, and photographed participants, edited the images, created the graphic design template and wrote the final copy to meet the City’s approved social media tone and voice.

Results

Residents love the campaign and now share stories about staff on social media. Employee Spotlights have improved morale at City Hall and given prospective employees a glimpse into what it is like to work for the City of Laguna Beach.
